Bratislava round two

One of the famous statues in downtown Bratislava

After our trip to Omaha, and a couple of whirlwind weeks back in the U.S., we boarded another plane to head to Europe to meet up with some of our Kuwait Harps GAA club family for the second annual Slovak Shamrocks Gaelic Football tournament.  We had such a fun time last year and this year Joe took the lead to organize the team and serve as captain.  Our good friends from Ireland also returned (well, most of them) and we had an amazing time.  Joe enjoyed playing one more tournament as a Kuwait Harp and the boys did well, finishing second to a loaded Vienna team once again.  The Vienna Gaels are the European champions and the only team that beat us in Bratislava each of the past two years.  The boys are already talking about returning for the third tournament in June 2016, so perhaps we haven't seen the last of this beautiful European city!

We enjoyed being in Bratislava with some of our best friends from Q8

This was the Harps team for Bratislava 2015

It was so great to see our good friends from Northern Ireland!

Joe played for the Harps and the Irish Fin!
